We are a young, Australian fresh meals company based on the Sunshine Coast and we’re on a mission: we want to make it easy for everyone to eat healthy, especially when you haven’t got the time to cook. Our meals are chef prepared and dietitian approved, so you can enjoy a perfectly cooked meal in a matter of minutes. Our kitchen is gluten free, preservative/additive free and only uses the best locally sourced produce.

We’re crowdfunding for a refrigerated truck, so we can deliver thousands of meals to our army of hungry customers across Australia.

Since we started making our meals, we’ve fed thousands of people and we currently deliver thousands of meals every week all over the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast. People all over Queensland love our unique, ready to eat meals, from Pesto Chicken to our Thai Beef Salad, and the word is getting out! We’ve been approached by gyms, hospitals and grocers across the country who can’t wait to stock our meals, so that you can get your hands on them.

We’ve tried working with lots of delivery companies but our customers say that there’s always just one thing missing: the CrazyFresh touch! We think it’s really important that the people who love our meals get the best experience, so we’ve decided to take our deliveries into our own hands. We’ve tried using smaller vehicles and polystyrene eskies, but it just wasn’t working. We decided that our only solution is to buy a refrigerated truck! #CrazyFreshNeedATruck

We’ve worked really hard to choose the perfect truck. She’s a one tonne, two pallet refrigerated truck that can keep our meals chilled, right down to minus 20 degrees, that's if we need it cold. We’d really like to use our truck to access areas that normal delivery companies find difficult and increase our distribution network so that if you live in Queensland, you will never be more than 5 kilometres away from a CrazyFresh meal.

CrazyFresh meals are different to other ready meals out there, because they’re gluten free, preservative/additive free and hand-prepared, every day by our team of qualified chefs.

We use premium Australian fruit, veggies and meat to create our meals and we don’t add any refined sugar, preservatives or additives. We’re always busy creating new menus and our local IGAs have a rotating selection of over 30 meals on the shelf, so there’s always something new to try. Our award-winning head chef is a Sunshine Coast local and loves creating restaurant quality meals in our commercial kitchen in Marcoola. Here’s what a few of our favourite customers have to say:

CrazyFresh started because our founder, Mat Walker, wanted to revolutionise the way Australians ate their food.

After watching his friends struggle to achieve a healthy lifestyle, Mat set out to make a real difference. Mat wanted to show people how eating healthy and eating local doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive and how it could also taste incredible, with the right balance of quality ingredients and talented chef skills.

After more than 20 years of working in hospitality, Mat quit his job and spent the first six months of CrazyFresh working with dieticians to craft a selection of perfectly balanced, innovative and tasty meals that would also stay fresh in the fridge for up to 10 days. In August 2016, Mat put his first meal on the shelf at Peregian IGA on the Sunshine Coast and CrazyFresh began! Since then, we have been stocked in over 30 supermarkets, local gyms and Mater Private hospital in Brisbane. We’ve had an absolute blast so far, and we are excited to see where the rest of this CrazyFresh journey takes us.

We would like to thank the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast and their CEO Mark Paddenburg, whose drive and entrepreneurial passion gave Mat the confidence to get CrazyFresh off the ground. In March 2017, CrazyFresh was selected from over 60 local food businesses to take part in Grow Coastal: the Sunshine Coast’s first food accelerator program. A huge thank you goes out to the Grow Coastal team, the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast for making it happen, Advance Queensland who funded the initiative and Tara Mei from Kitchen Table Projects, who worked tirelessly to keep our CrazyFresh founder Mat focused on achieving success.

A very special thank you goes out to the ever so creative and talented Michelle Evans from 4Ingredients and the inspiring and passionate Roz White from whitesgrocers.com.au who was the first independent supermarket owner to put CrazyFresh on the shelves in her IGA Peregian store. Without the support of people like Roz, independent local Aussie companies like ours wouldn’t have been able to take those crucial first steps.
